We strive everyday to maintain the intimate, natural beauty of Crockett's Run
and hope that guests will enjoy coming here for many years to come.



We are Charlie and Sharry Morehead - the owners and operators of Crockett's
Run.  Our residence and office are here on the grounds at Crockett's Run.
Our two daughters and grandchildren live near Columbus, Ohio.
  Crockett's Run was named after the creek that flows through the valley into the Hocking River. We purchased Crockett's Lodge, Appleseed Cabin, Jim Bowie Cabin and Dave's Gathering Place from Roger and Kathy Shaw in 1997. Since then we have added the Wm. Travis Lodge, Sam Houston Lodge and our residence/office. We purchased another eight acres of adjoining land in 2008 with hopes of building another cabin or two in the future. Crockett's Run celebrated its fifteenth year of operation in 2010.
